About LEO A. FURLONG
I have been practicing as a financial navigator for over 40 years.
Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting and minor in Finance, I was invited to join Arthur Anderson's accounting firm in Cleveland Ohio and found my niche in the small business department. During an annual review with the Senior Partner I was promoted and told, what a fine job I was doing as an Accountant. However, the partner said, "Leo there are many successful Accountants, but the greatest success you will achieve is by becoming a GOOD business person". His words inspired me to achieve that goal.
A good business person has to have an understanding of many financial and non-financial disciplines and is never shy about asking for help when confronted with something they do not know.
I enjoyed my work for many years, however due to strong family ties, I left Arthur Anderson & relocated my family to the Lehigh Valley.
I continued working for a regional accounting firm and decided I had the experience, dedication and desire to start my own Accounting business.
